Whole30 Sichuan Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Sherry Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut aminos
  • 2 tsp Arrowroot starch
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Dried mustard
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame oil
  • 4 Cloves Fresh garlic Minced
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh ginger Grated
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 Lb Fresh green beans Washed and trimmed
  • 1 Lb Ground turkey or pork
  • 2 Scallions Chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add green beans to pan and sauté, stirring frequently, until green beans are blackened in spots and start to shrivel. Transfer to bowl and set aside.

  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine first 10 ingredients. Set aside.

  4. In the skillet, cook meat until no longer pink and heated through. Add sauce ingredients and stir to combine.

  5. Heat over medium-low heat until sauce starts to thicken.

  6. Add green beans back to pan and toss to coat.

  7. Sprinkle scallions over the top and serve.
