Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
In a stand mixer, mix all dry ingredients (except chocolate) together.
Add coconut oil, honey, and milk to dry ingredients. Stir to combine.
Add eggs in, one at a time, until well incorporated.
Add in chocolate chips last. Stir by hand until incorporated in.
Remove dough from bowl and place on sheet of parchment paper. Form dough into a disk with your hands. Wrap in parchment and place in freezer for 20 minutes.
Remove dough from freezer. Cut dough into 8 wedges (cut like you would a pizza).
Place scones on baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool. Top with coconut whipped cream and serve.
