Paleo Spinach Artichoke Dip

Paleo Spinach Artichoke Dip

Sharing is caring!

Here’s a new recipe for Paleo Spinach Artichoke Dip! It’s been WAY too long since I’ve posted a truly Paleo recipe. And that’s just sad. It’s because I haven’t been eating Paleo much recently. My body is definitely feeling it and I’m considering doing a Whole30 or Sugar Detox in the new year, to get my back on track. What are your New Year’s health goals? Tell me in the comments below! And if you’d like to see something specific here on the blog to support you in your goals, tell me that too in the comments!

I have a pretty large extended family (my dad’s side is Italian, that’s normal, right? LOL) and we’re a mess when it comes to food intolerance. None of us have a true “allergy”. No one carries an Epi pen or might experience anaphylaxis if they consume a specific food. So, that’s good. But when it comes to intestinal issues, migraines, and joint problems, foods wreak havoc in our bodies! Soy, dairy, and gluten are the main culprits in our family. Though certain food dyes and refined sugars cause behavioral problems in many of the little people. 🙂

Dairy Free Spinach Dip

Creating menus that cater to all of our family’s extensive food preferences is a challenge. Usually we just end up asking everyone to bring something their family can enjoy and eating buffet style. It’s just too hard to coordinate, especially for those family members who don’t have any food intolerances and so, don’t cook like that on a regular basis.

But I run a Paleo food blog and have for a couple of years now. And Paleo recipes cater to ALL of the dietary restrictions that our family suffers from. So, bringing a Paleo dish means everyone can enjoy it! The challenge is, creating a dish that non-allergy sufferers will enjoy too. Because let’s face it, gluten free/dairy free/soy free substitutions just don’t taste the same. You get used to them, and some are not as bad as others, but they’re not identical. And when it’s Christmas time, and you just want your great-grandma’s cookie recipe to be exactly like you remember her making it, no substitution is gonna cut it. Am I right?!

I kid you not, this dairy free version for Paleo Spinach Artichoke dip is the exception. You truly cannot tell the difference. It’s amazing. And the secret is, Kite Hill Almond Cream Cheese. Kite Hill gives this dip a creamy, decadent texture but without the dairy! Try it. I’m sure you’ll love it. It’s the perfect football or New Year’s Eve game night appetizer!

P.S. Serve it with some cut up vegetables and Siete Foods chips to keep it Paleo!
