In a food processor, combine all ingredients (except for the nuts) 1-2 minutes, or until smooth.
Add walnuts (or whatever nut you've decided to use) and blend till smooth and sauce-like.
Refrigerate after use for up to 5 days.
Recipe Notes
You can also use pecans, pistachios, or tahini instead of the walnuts, if desired. I just happened to have a bunch of walnuts on hand from Christmas baking but go "nuts"! *pun intended ;)
