When life gets crazy and I’m running around in the mornings before heading to school, my go to breakfast is almost always a smoothie. I can take it on the go and it only takes minutes to throw together. Lately, I’ve been adding more collagen to mine in order to promote a healthy gut and add shine to my hair. Smoothies are also great before or after a work out! Be good to your body, fuel it right! This dairy-free apple pie smoothie will give you all those fall feels too with the flavors of caramel, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It’s also low in sugar and high in protein! 

Apple Pie Smoothie

Dairy Free Apple Pie Smoothie

Servings 2

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith apple peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/3 cup cashew or almond milk
  • 1/3 cup coconut or almond milk yogurt
  • 1 scoop collagen
  • 2 tbsp Torani apple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg
  • pinch ginger
  • Torani Caramel sauce if desired

Instructions

  1. Peel and core apple. Dice into small pieces and place in a blender.

  2. Add all other ingredients (except caramel sauce) to blender. Blend on high till smooth.

  3. Pour into two glasses. Top with caramel sauce. Enjoy!
